Beautiful view and very friendly service! A very sought after destination for weddings and a good place to eat. Their small plates and appetizers are a perfect example of American Fusion. The main course fell short compared to their stellar service and drink menu. Great place for evening drinks and delicious small plates with family.
Went to the KC Grille after checking in at the Garden of the Gods Club and Resort. Got there early for dinner and they quickly took us in even though we did not have a reservation. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were told to choose any table on the outdoor patio to sit. We picked a smaller table and were settling in when another group came in and sat at a large table beside us. The group was celebrating a child's birthday and were beginning to get somewhat boisterous when the restaurant matron came up and invited us to a more private table at the end of the patio. Needless to say we were glad to oblige. The house special was prime rib that evening, so we each ordered this entree along with potato and asparagus. When the plates arrived, everything was wonderful. The prime rib was cooked as we had asked, the asparagus was grilled to perfection, and the potatoes were great. Once we had eaten and were expecting our check, our waitress brought us a complimentary plate with a chocolate chip cookie and vanilla ice cream, all drizzled in chocolate syrup. Written on the rim of the plate in chocolate syrup were the words "Happy Anniversary". This was a wonderful gesture that we sincerely appreciated. Now I won't lie, the dinner was pricey, but this is an upscale restaurant and their quality is right up there with the price. For a couple celebrating their anniversary, we found the experience very satisfying.
What an amazing place. Great view from the restaurant patio. Whiskey sour was too good. So was the mimosa. Pretzel chicken burger was moist and tasty.
